Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To get quotes you answer six questions: your sex, when you were born, how you'd describe your health, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you want, and how long a term you prefer. We never ask for your name, address or phone to show you prices. Names and medical details only come up if you choose to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They're the quotes each carrier provided for your selected health category. The carrier's underwriting team confirms your final class after reviewing your application—it might stay the same, improve, or change. These quotes are estimates only and not an offer or price promise.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name and your exact quote is turned into an application, then you move to the carriers' secure platform. You can stop and return anytime. You'll sign your name digitally. Susman Insurance Agency (California License 0B75129) administers the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

Depends on the carrier, amount and your answers. Many carriers now fast-track decisions without an exam for eligible applicants. Each quote notes whether a medical exam is required, possibly required, or not required.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term based on when you'll actually need the protection. A 10-year term covers a specific period; 30 years does the same but costs more per month and locks in longer. The quote tool lets you run numbers for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years to see the tradeoffs.

Does this site sell my information?

Absolutely not. The quote tool never collects contact data, we don't trade or share visitor information, and our measurement uses no cookies. Check our privacy page for exactly what gets collected and who collects it.
